Be that as it may, did you know that the Japanese company Brother, which manufactures printers, office equipment, original toners, ink cartridges, and products intended for industrial sectors, sponsored the famous Manchester City in the past?

This was not some short-term contract, because the club's players ran around both home and away pitches in jerseys bearing the Brother logo for a respectable 12 years.

Books hold a number of records

The world of printing is inseparably linked with the printing of books. It is therefore no surprise that the smallest and the largest printed book in the world will not be missing from our overview of interesting facts.

The author of the smallest book in the world, Anatoly Konenko from Russia, specializes in making miniature things. His portfolio also includes, for example, leather shoes that are smaller than a matchstick or a portrait of A. S. Pushkin on a grain of rice, or a number of other portraits created on apple seeds.

We will, of course, be primarily interested in the smallest printed book in the world. Anatoly Konenko was inspired by the world-famous Russian writer Anton Pavlovich Chekhov and decided to publish his work Chameleon. So what are the parameters of the book? The mini-book measures 0.9 x 0.9 mm and was printed in a limited edition of 100 copies, with half in English and half in Russian. The edition has 30 pages, each page contains 11 lines, and the book, bound in gold, silver, or leather, also includes three color illustrations.

For comparison, the world's largest book by dimensions, titled "This the Prophet Mohamed," presented to the public in Dubai, measures 5 m x 8.06 m, weighs approximately 1,500 kg, and contains 429 pages.

We all know about it, many of us use its services almost every day, but only a few of us suspect or realize that the price of ink significantly exceeds the value of several more attractive liquid commodities? Including black gold. Oil may be the most widely traded commodity in international trade, but its price is influenced to a large extent by many factors. Among them, we can mention the dollar exchange rate, demand for the commodity, and persistent political tensions around the world.

Ink is, of course, not subject to such influences, yet its price is much, much higher. While, for example, a barrel of oil (approximately 159 liters) currently costs around USD 60 on global exchanges, you will pay several hundred euros for a liter of printer ink.
